Eggs from our Gorgeous line of Black Coturnix Quail

Bresse Star Chick Hatchery introduces our fertilized Eggs from our rare line of Black Coturnix Quail. These premium eggs are sourced from our specially bred Black Coturnix Quail, known for their striking dark plumage. All of our birds have been raised and fed since hatching the Fertrell line of Vitamins and Minerals which have really helped in developing these beautiful Black Quail. 

The Black Coturnix Quail is one of the rarest colors of Coturnix Quail. The United States did not have these birds till 2019 when a breeder was able to get some imported from Germany. 

We as well as just a handful of breeders here in the U.S.A. are trying to continually work and improve this rare line of Black Quail. Black Quail are not the easiest to raise. They have a tendency to have a failure to thrive. We are feeling good about doing our best to breed this out of our line of Black Quail.
